NEANIAS has promoted Open Science practices and played active role in the materialization of the EOSC ecosystem by efficiently engaging large scientific and professional communities and actively contributing to the technological, procedural, strategic and business development of EOSC.
NEANIAS has driven the co-design and delivery of innovative thematic services, derived from state-of-the-art research assets and practices in three major sectors: Underwater research, Atmospheric research and Space research, each engaging a wide variety of academic and business groups, numerous researchers, professionals and governmental entities. Moreover, NEANIAS has identified and promoted cutting-edge business cases across several user communities and laid out several concrete exploitation opportunities.
Despite the pandemic crisis, NEANIAS managed to successfully complete all objectives NEANIAS managed:
- to successfully complete releases of both the expected as well as additional software and open science cloud solutions.
- to broadly disseminate, communicate, and effectively shape the overall exploitation of the services and business cases.
- to progress fruitful collaborations and innovation activities.
- to undertake a leading role in EOSC exploitation and user-engagement, thus strengthening and securing the overall project’s impact.
