NEANIAS had a fruitful experience participating in Innovathens with the A1 service among 29 teams.

The Sustainability Hackathon was the second open innovation action aimed at community and business activation to create innovative applications that contribute through technology and digitization to the goals of sustainability, education and entrepreneurship.

The event took place on April 15-16-17, hybridly, physical at Innovathens (100 Pireaus str., Gkazi) and remotely with digital tools! Applications.

The Sustainability Hackathon had the following main objectives:

• Creating a culture of innovation and collaborations within the organization.
• Supporting youth and innovative entrepreneurship, opportunities for young people, combating unemployment.
• Support to the local economy, as competitors from all over Greece will be able to participate, who can then set up their own business.
• Highlighting smart and innovative solutions to the problems and challenges that concern both the themes of the campaign and the citizens who deal with related issues.
• Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the campaign, utilizing new emerging technologies.
• Connecting the campaign with the technological innovation and entrepreneurship community of our country.
• Creating an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of sustainability.
