NEANIAS was presented on the 10th December 2021 at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris in the framework of an Eastern Mediterranean International Meeting.

The presentaton of the NEANIAS project objectives, the advantages of the EOSC bases new underwater services, as well as several of the scientific preliminary results from the treatment of the underwater archaeological databases was made by the NEANIAS member team Jafar Anbar to an international scientific and stakeholders' community from the Eastern Mediterranean. The subsequent debate was very enriching for the validation of user requirements.

The presentation also included some trials of the EOSC Underwater Services of databases from fieldwork in Syria.
