The NEANIAS SPACE team, together with the INAF Astrophysical Observatory of Catania, the Institute for Radioastronomy of Bologna and the University of Portsmouth,  has co-organized an “International Workshop on 3D Rendering for Big Data", held virtually on the Google Meet platform the 28th April 2021 from 9:00 to 13:00 CEST.

The workshop was attended by more than 20 researchers from all over the world, working on visualization of astronomical data that, due to the increasing size and complexity, requires innovative technologies to be efficiently rendered.

During the workshop the NEANIAS Space team presented the work on the Via Lactea service (talk and demo given by F. Vitello, INAF) and the NEANIAS core visualization services (talk and demo given by S. Azzi, UoP).
