On September 5th, NEANIAS project will organize the Open Innovation Workshop with the aim of presenting the project activities in the field of open science.
The event will emphasize the 3 thematics of atmosphere, underwater science and space, giving the opportunity to the participants to explore and use the innovative services of the project:
- The atmospheric services of NEANIAS are bringing to the surface innovative studies and applications in the fields of energy, greenhouse gases and air quality, with the aim of involving different communities and users associated with the atmosphere.
- Underwater surveys have numerous scientific and commercial applications in the fields of archaeology, geology, biology, and energy involving tasks such as ancient shipwreck prospection, ecological studies, environmental damage assessment, and detection of temporal changes.
- NEANIAS Space offers innovative cross-cutting services integrated in EOSC for tackling operationally space-related studies to be exploited as a platform of operational tools for space communities, including astrophysicists, planetary scientists, planetary mining engineers, planetary robotics, mobile telecommunication and space weather in virtual observatories with a variety of visual discovery scenarios.
The event will present the project, its objectives and its services provided through the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
The Open Innovation Workshop will take place at Athena RC, Athens at 9:00 am CEST time
