The Innovation and Business session, as part of the NEANIAS Open Event, is taking place on Day 1 (September 22, 2022) in Barcelona. The session will be led by NEANIAS Innovation specialists and business consultants, with the aim to foster Open Innovation among the participants and create novel innovative projects in the Atmospheric, Space and Underwater research fields.
We kindly invite you to participate and learn about the innovative business cases, the winners of the Open Call, end-users of the services, and discover more about their results and the benefits achieved with the NEANIAS solutions in the European Open Science Cloud.
During the workshop the results of previous, interactive open innovation workshops will be presented to inspire the participants for further ideas, novel projects to discuss. Each business case representative, and open call winner will provide a short pitch, to inspire participants for an open discussion about further business/technical opportunities and possible ways of collaboration. We recommend the participation of academic, and industrial institutes and venture capitalists, involved in the Atmospheric, Underwater or Space research fields.
There are altogether nine business cases taking part in the NEANIAS project. Two of them are internal business cases, integrating the services of NEANIAS into their technology. These business cases are developed by SMEs, Ubiwhere Lda (Portugal), and the Eunice Energy Group (Greece). Three business cases are the winners of the first Open Call of NEANIAS, these business cases are SMEs, Enaliatec (Greece), OWL (Portugal) and Geoinsight (Hungary). Their technical onboarding is in process, with the aim of integrating the services of NEANIAS. There were four winners selected in the frame of the second Open Call, namely DDQ BV (The Netherlands), Relief Applications (Spain), Sotiria Technology (Greece), and Walldone (Greece).
