NEANIAS at the University of Malta.

INAF (National Institute for Astrophysics) has presented NEANIAS at the University of Malta within a joint collaboration activity, on January-16, 2020.

NEANIAS services and benefits were explained by Eva Sciacca, Ugo Becciani and Simone Riggi from INAF to members of the University of Malta and University of Catania, from a technical and scientific perspective.

 

 

The collaboration meeting focused on discussions of joint activities and research on Machine Learning techniques for Radio Astronomy in SKA and its precursors. NEANIAS team promoted delivery on the EOSC ecosystem and, in particular, presenting the software development plan of the Space thematic services and the NEANIAS Space service S3 "Structure detection on large map images with machine learning techniques".

As a result, University of Malta will be involved in the activities related to Machine Learning in NEANIAS Space Research Services.
