On April 10th, ATHENA Research Center, in a context of the activities of National Open Access Node at OpenAIRE and the National RDA Node, carried out an open webinar called “COVID-19: actions, tools, good practices and points of contact in Greece". 

NEANIAS had an active participation by the external expert that participates in the RDA COVID-19 Working Group, Prof. Giota Touloumi.

The webinar has been driven by the need to collect and promote to the Greek academic and scientific community great national efforts undertaken and knowledge acquired so far by scientific stakeholders working around the management of the crisis pertaining to the COVID-19 outbreak. Moreover, the importance of Open Science for data sharing, open access to scientific publications, development and management of open research software as well as cooperation between all stakeholders involved in the research lifecycle has been emphasized.
