Thessaloniki, 11-19/09/2021.

The 85th Thessaloniki International Fair is one of the greatest exhibition events in Greece, and was physically held at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre, while observing all necessary hygiene protocols.

The Thessaloniki International Fair is one of the main exhibitions to be organised in Europe in 2021 and it was set the organisational bar for all corresponding events. This year’s event was dedicated to Greece, its central thematic axis being the past, present, and future triptych. The event aimed to contribute to the redefining of the needs of Greek society, to boost its historic memory, and to bring citizens closer to new digital services and technologies, innovations, and Greek production.

NEANIAS project (with the participation of the Project Manager and the Scientific Coordinator) supported the fair, presenting the objectives of the project and its contribution to the research community and to the whole of society in general. Many people - researchers, but also business-minded people, policy makers, and representatives of companies and academia - were drawn to our proposal and were updated with our latest achievements and value proposition.
