NEANIAS members attended Four Years From Now (4YFN) exhibition. 4YFN is a startups event within the framework of the MWC, aimed at generating networking between companies, suppliers, developers, investors and the market.

The last edition, in 2019, brought more than 23.000 attendees, 760 exhibitors and sponsors, including 670 startups and 950 investors. After its cancellation of the 2020 edition due to COVID-19, the 4YFN21 was held again, from June 28 to July 1, 2021 in Barcelona, with more than 400 startups exhibiting and 200 startup pitches on stage. Obviously, the event featured special health and safety measures to protect participants against the spread of COVID-19.

4YFN supports accelerators and governments who want to project the creativity of their ecosystems to the tech industry, with exhibition space to showcase their best startups and opportunities for those startups to pitch to investors.

The assistance allowed to have access to potential users in sectors such as digital applications, telecommunications or health care, and to learn about emerging technologies and their transformative impact on research. Likewise, it facilitated the discussion and contrast of the potential of NEANIAS with sector experts and investors in terms of business models and exploitation.
