Members of the NEANIAS project team attended the European Space Business Programme' webinar, dedicated to analyse the applicability of ESA business programme to the NEANIAS project.
ESA Space Solutions programme is designed to provide multiple entry points such as ESA Business Incubation Centres (ESA BICs), ESA Technology Transfer Broker Network, ESA Business Application Ambassadors and the ESA Business Applications programme. It can also support ideas of transferring space technology into non-space markets or vice versa. ESA Business Applications is part of ESA Space Solutions that supports the development of sustainable services utilising space assets. It provides funding opportunities and expert support to entrepreneurs.
Space assets like satellite data or spaceflight technologies offer many opportunities and solutions to businesses, and it is wide open to entrepreneurs interested to apply for ESA different funding opportunities.
The ESA team carried out a one-hour online workshop, in which they have explained the investment opportunities in space and collaboration that have started with four business centers in Europe for the delivery of these modules:
- Modul I: University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), 22-26 Nov 2021
- Modul II: NOVA (Portugal), January / February 2022
- Modul III: RSM (Netherlands), May / June 2022
- Modul IV: ESA (Netherlands), May / June 2022
