Online & Barcelona, 17-18/11/2020. 

NEANIAS attended Smart City Live 2020, organized as an online edition of the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona on November 17-18, 2020 due to the global pandemic.

The event was focused around developing the innovation system within Europe and be connected in an early stage of developing solutions for city challenges. 

The purpose of this Digital Event was to provide government, city representatives, start-ups, SME’s, corporates, experts, investors and any related project with a platform to initiate long-term partnerships. National organizations and cities from all over the world were brought together to establish new alliances and build on existing ones. Innovators and experts shared their solutions and it has been a great opportunity to show many projects to investors with a smart city focus and find investment opportunities.

NEANIAS challenges were easily connected to most of them, and mainly those related to climate and innovative IT services and core solutions. As main results, NEANIAS representatives shared many ideas on business development opportunities, established contacts with the ecosystem and stakeholders, obtained fruitful conclusions from business-oriented keynotes, workshops and roundtables, and last but not least important, inspiration and interactive knowledge exchange.
