NEANIAS attended the Smart City Expo World Congress 2019, in Barcelona. This global congress is the most important international event dedicated to innovative solutions for sustainable cities.

The congress addressed topics such as, IoT, artificial Intelligence, connectivity, big data, cloud computing, management platforms, machine learning, visual analytics, 5G or the future of connectivity, among others.

The context of this global congress provided the opportunity to introduce NEANIAS and establish connections with professionals from different sectors and profiles from innovation centres, universities, laboratories, investment companies or start-ups with innovative services in the fields of sustainability, the environment, open data or data analysis, presenting the goals and challenges of the project. Interesting feed-back has also been obtained.

Moreover, for NEANIAS the congress has provided a rich knowledge and the latest state-of-art in some technologies related to the project as well as its connection with cloud services.
