About us

Jacobs University Bremen (JacobsUni) is a highly selective, international, residential university with currently 1244 students from 111 nations, 93 professors and 138 research staff. The key guiding principles in both research and teaching are: excellence, internationality and interculturality, transdisciplinarity, interactivity. It opened in 2001 as a private, independent university, registered as a non-profit organization (gGmbH). Research at Jacobs University spans a broad range of fields. Main role in the project

JacobsUni will contribute to scientific aspects of the project related to the Planetary/Astronomic research as well as to the technological activities related to the integration within EOSC services. JacobsUni experience ranges from data management, analytics and visualisation to planetary and terrestrial 2D/3D mapping, including terrestrial Remote Sensing, bathymetry and planetary surfaces.
